Jacob's "Vision"

My cousin Jacob gave his mother a scare when he told her something very seriously. He told her that when he turns 14 he is going to be burned severely and have lifelong scars. She shared this with the family of dinner one day.

Another occurence is that he had sleep walked one night and his mother followed him to see what he would do. He was murmuring something that she couldn't quite hear. All of a sudden he slammed his back against a wall. She said it seemed as though some one was holding him there because his head was raised high. He was completely unconscious but when she saw his eyes, they were filled with fear. As though he KNEW something bad was going to happen to him.

I have been told recently that he could actualy be having memories of a past life. Any advice so I can help my cousin?

Hi Riverspirit

Another thing first .. on your post about childrens memories you mentioned your brother having the wish to burn down the new house.. Interesting that both he and his cousin Jacob would talk of a burning ??

TO talk to Jacob you could first talk to him about the dreams you mentioned also in your other post . I figure your family might not be bothered by talks of dreams as it seems less of a psychic nature. You do not need to start with the original dream.. just talk of his dreams when he awakes.. particularly if you are around when he gets up in the morning..

If he starts talking about the same sort of thing over a few times of asking , then you might find some theme which you could get around to talking positively about... I cannot remember what the dream was.. >? Can you write it { cut and paste it } from your other post??. If it is something you could show him books about or actually visit that could help him see that there is nothing to fear in his present life.

Thanks for posting about your family. I've read it all with interest and will be back later to post something back. Running out the door now with kids. :)

Soulfriendly, I have written all I know of on the introducing post.

I guess it is odd that Jacob and Brett have both talked of burning q6gif They have never spoke of it to each other. I plan to spend some time with my Jacob's mom before the school term starts back so I can talk to him then.

I will get some pictures for him. Thanks for the idea!

Many thanks,

Okay I'm back. :) Are his dreams bothering him during the day? Does he even remember his dreams that seem to scare others? Does he remember the part where he got held against a wall?

Jacob might be remembering a past life and transferring it to this life instead. Is he 14 yet in this life? I remember when I was 10 in this life, I was convinced I would die at age 10 and being very puzzled that I survived to see age 11. Turns out later on that I was able to recall that I had died at a young age in the life just prior to this. I'm almost sure it was at or about age 10 in that life.

It's possible too that he might be knowing something about his future in this life. I do believe we choose some challenges ahead of time to face in this lifetime. Perhaps an injury like that is something he chose for himself that's coming up.

But again, I think the biggest question for Jacob would be whether any of this is even bothering him or disturbing his sleep. There's alot of good threads and suggestions about helping a child who is terrified or troubled by these things.

Good luck!

I agree with Alaskanlaughter.

It could be, and hopefully is, a p/l memory brought forward.

I met someone who told me he was sure he would be shot and die at the age of 28. When he was 25.

Past life German pilot, and his squadron in the p/l was numbered 28. He was shot and killed as a member of that squadron. He was 25 when he died that life.

PS He did not DIE at 28, but he spent the whole year being very paranoid about burglars etc.

Further PS. He had not had any regression, identification of the number 28 p/l squadron until he met me. I knew him p/l. He was in mortal terror of the dream, being shot at the age of 28. It was vivid, and he took it literally, to mean age, in the nasty dream he had had.

Sorry I have been away for so long. Time gets away from us in life!

Jacob hasn't had anymore problems that I am aware of. He had some issues for a while thinking that there was someone outside his bedroom window every night. His mom would go in to check and he would swear up and down that the man was right there, asking him to let him enter. His mom couldn't see the man.

Also my brother has never mentioned anything after that incident with wanting to burn the house. Whether or not that is simply because of not believing it anymore is beyond me. You must also take into consideration that our household does not exactly support these types of thoughts so they may also be suppressed. I personally wouldn't doubt it.

Just a note:

Sometimes, I think it's possible for premonitions and past life traumas both to occur during wakeful moments as well as in dreams.

Someone very close to me was 14 when he stared at himself in the bathroom mirror wondering what it would look like to have a deep horizontal scar on his face along his nose and cheek. Incredibly, he used a pair of barber shears to carve a scratch in that same spot as it appeared to him in the mirror. Today, he carries a very real, deep scar on his face in exactly the mirror reversal of that same spot, as he appears in reality.
