This is a little off topic but for the last couple of days, on my other desktop computer, I have the random shuffle repeat feature active on a online computer mp3 music player and the albums stands up very well for continuos background music.
contributor to Woolger's insights
The author may be considered "anathema" here, but I just got the Sounds True 6 tape collection called: (not listened to yet)
The Transpersonal Vision: The Healing Potential of Nonordinary States of Consciousness (Audio Cassette)

But...

Past Life Therapy, Trauma Release and the Body
It looks pretty good!
Chansa's post
Your post made me think of Scriabin, the composer. I think recalling pl's should be inherently S.
Anyway, check out this quote and I will link it below it.
The Genetics of Genealogy
Spenser Wells leads the group and is on the DVD in the DNA testing kit from Nat'L Geographic, and I am listening to him at this moment on a local rebroadcast of a show called "Open Source", usually on NPR.
You should be able to get a podcast or streamed mp3 at this...
Shamanic Dream, Anugama
I first found this music as a soundtrack to a Yoga session videotaped on Maui called:
Sacred Yoga Practice with Rainbeau Mars - Vinyasa Flow
But subsequently located it at my local library as a stand alone cd.
In his CD, Angugama uses the didgeridoo plus a drum...
Sorry, who am I to speak of Forks, but U of ND is located in Grand Forks, I just realized....
Welcome to the City of Grand Forks Online!

When I was 16 and somewhat isolated, I had many of his books available and read them. I metioned this on a Tibetan Buddhist listserv about 10 years ago, and it was treated as the most ludicrous thing in the world to have done, even for a 16 yo.
Anway, somewhat off topic, I identify with the...
this is a great thread!

It seems you are at a fork...sort of to follow a therapeutic attitude such as Woolger does, or a past life proof standpoint such as Ian Stevenson, whose primary concern was finding specific continuities.
Basically I agree with you.
However, Rabbi Gershom seems to think that some Jews may reincarnate exclusively Jewish, so placing yourself in the line descended from Aaron might be able to contribute to your effectiveness in that community.
Where Reincarnation and Biology Intersect (Paperback)

Here is a link in Isreal that deals with the Cohen-Levi lineages.

I found your post interesting. Birthmarks related to previous lives, seem to be a function of an often violent or untimely death and a quick rebirth. Something as relatively superficial as a birthmark would be shallow compared to a brain with a similar MRI scan!
Anyway, some of Stevensons...
Cupboards and "Theory of Mind"
I hope this isn't considered off topic, but I have studied "Developmental Cognitive Psychology" and one of it fundamental paradigms or experimental examples involves a "cupboard". This is a test of "False Belief", which has to do with a childs "theory of mind"...
Karmic Relationships: Healing Invisible Wounds

I have checked his book out a couple of times from the library, but have been unable to read it for some reason. I love the title, however!
Karmic Relationships: Healing Invisible Wounds...
It is so nice to see someone from/in India posting here as so many spiritual insights and parameters have had such significant expression there (for us all!).
The conference in New Delhi, India March 8-12 seems like it would be a good reason to visit.
Punjab
I think I had a lifetime in the Punjab in the 16th or 17th century, as a Sikh. This religion synthesized Muslin and Hindu beliefs. They are monotheist, who believe in reincarnation. Theoretically, they don't believe in the caste system.

Hi DIDI
Hi DIDI, thank you for your comment. I appreciate Christianity, but also Judaism and Islam.
There are Christian Reincarnationists (I wish I could name some of their books :( ...) and Christian Spiritualists, but also "believers" that reject Christianity. Basicly, I believe...
last life
Sylvia Brown says she is in her last life, and seems to "award" that to others also. Well, some spirit guides haven't incarnated for awhile, but they have a job, ie guides, so maybe that is what happens with no future rebirths.
Anyway, I think she was Theodora; who "threw out"...
