I was born in late 1880's
I remember a christmas around 1907 I think I was 7 .? I had a bad day at sunday school
Lost my temper I was so bored with the whole religion thing .. I was
tapping my finger and dragging on the edge of the desk..
looking out the window looking at the teacher in disgust..
She asked a question about what I learned I I got up and yelled
I don't care old men and dead sea scrolls or anything like that..I pushed
everything off the desk behind me I lost it..
They had restrain me I was taken to principals office my father was there
The Minster was mad at me I didn't care I did not want to be there...
My father looked at me I could tell he sad and upset with me..
I walked out with him he said you don't have to do that anymore.
My daughter I looked at him and hugged him..
A few days later it was Christmas eve .. We had a big dinner..
In the dining room our house had many rich colored wood walls
and wall paper of small flowers.. through out the house..
The living was decorated with lots of garland and and ornaments
on the fire place mantel and stairs banster.. where I hung some ornaments.
I was wearing dark red maroon colored dress.
We had a big tree in living room many candles and ornaments.
hung and shined with garland.. I got open one present maybe more?
I picked a big present to open it was a doll I wanted..
I sat looked at the tree played around it. ran up stairs
to my room.. Held my new doll looked out the window out of my two story
house to see the lights in the houses. I put her on the trunk
Went to bed holding one my stuff toys.. I looked at snow falling.
and fell asleep under my warm quilt and blankets.
