Countries you have lived in??

I think it can matter in away. I know I personally feel very European and mostly have my past lives in Europe, such as Sweden, Italy, Austria, Roumania, Hungary, England and France. But also feel a bit drawn to USA in many ways. But I know I visit it and lived there for a period of time. But believe sometimes that I possibily had a life where I entierly lived there not just a short period. Many countries I realise I lived in many lives times, some more then others. But I think there is always laying a pattern in ones countries ones past lives are in.

A great thread! Personally I've always loved Europe in general. Though my leanings are more toward Eastern Europe as I'm very partial to Russia.

Gonna try to do this in chronological order, so bear with me here;

Italy - Early-Mid 1st Century.

England - 12th Century.

Italy - Late 16th Century into the Late 17th Century.

France - Late 18th Century.

England - Mid-Late 19th Century.

Russia - Early 20th Century.

Germany - Mid 20th Century.

Interesting thread.

Seems like a lot of what I've come with has been North America. I think some of it was out in the West before they became states - life as native American, life as trapper / guide, etc.

The only "exotic" I've come up with was an Inca (so Peru, still Americas), and one where I was a warrior at a Henge somewhere (I don't know if actual Stonehenge or another of the ones that were scattered around).

I feel i may have had lived at some point in:

Atlantis - i feel i was a male here, i may have been involved

with crystals. Atlantis is a debated topic as to whether it existed but i feel quite strongly that it was real.

Mexico/Guatemala - I guess i was a mayan warrior in this life.

Ancient Egypt - A high priest perhaps judging by a flash i had. I'm guessing priest because i don't think slaves/peasants were allowed in temples. Maybe someone can elaborate on this.

USA - Native American man of the Navajo tribe, maybe a scout or something going on a dream i had which an native american was standing on the edge of a canyon which looked like it was in Monument Valley in Utah/Arizona.

Germany - I feel drawn to the Bayern region and am interested in the life of Ludwig II

Possibly Russia, Norway, France, India and perhaps Mesopotamia as well.

PL Countries

Since we have all lived varied lives, and many have reincarnated for very short lives, its really hard to say which countries we have lived in before. We can only state the countries we either remember, or have strong feelings toward. Many countries/kingdoms over the last few thousand years are now forgotten, or have merged with other countries. Even the original people may be completely gone along with their culture.

I have had feelings of been born under Burgundian rule in the 1400's, but to say I was French would not be correct because in that lifetime, we did not consider ourselves French even though we spoke French.

The last few lives I remember, within the last 250 years seem to have been: American (late 1700s), German (early 1800s), American (mid 1800s to 1864), British (late 1800s to 1917), American (1921-1944), India (1948-1957), and American (1960+). Its entirely possible that I lived a few short lives in between these lives where I died young or in childbirth.

-Ancient Minoa

-Mycenean era

-Ancient Greece (Dark Ages,Geometric Period,Archaic,Classical,Hellenistic,Roman era)

-Ancient Egypt (Ptolemaic)

-Ancient Rome (Roman Civil War,3rd century Alexandria)

-Arabia (8th-9th century)

-Spain (during the Arab Conquest)

-England (Victorian era)

I surely have lived in:

-Ancient Egypt: I have a sort of 'attraction' to it, especially to the old kingdom

-Ancient Greece: I have always been attracted to this era since I was a small child, and I have quite my share of memories..

-Ancient Rome: when I was eight I started to have this strange fascination for Rome (mostly with the army).

I might have also have lived in Mesopotamia, Persia, Arabia, Minoa, Byzantine Greece, England,WWI France and WWII Germany.

First, I am so sorry for my English, but I am really interested in reincarnation related topics. I don't pretend to dispute your past memories, but I find kind of curious that most of you have very eurocentric memories, despite the big world we lived in. Africa has been populated a long time before than Europe or the USA but nobody can feel related to these places. It's like some of our memories are kept or maybe are built from what its more familiar for us.

In all these forums I find people who are convinced to have lived in France or the United States but almost no one has links with the most populated countries as China, India, Indonesia. What about other places in the world? This eurocentrism makes your memories debatable.

This eurocentrism makes your memories debatable.

The question is, what would we reasonably expect of reincarnation? To answer that, we would need data upon which to base our expectations. So then, what does serious research on the topic have to say? Apparently a great many rebirths within a similar culture, whether Asian or European or other, with a relatively smaller number of cases bridging different cultural backgrounds.

If that's what the data tells us, then why doubt individual reports from members here, when they are consistent with serious research?

Not 100% sure on the exact timeline, but this is as close as I can get it:

Mongolia

Greece

Rome

India. Probably one of my favorite lives tbh

America in the 1700s. Idaho to be specific

I also have some vague inklings of a possible life in what's now Romania, and a very recent one on what appeared to be an island. Need to do some more searching for those

There are no Coincidences it seems. Today, I heard the throat-singing Mongolian music that Jet posted and it felt familiar to me. It reinforced my thoughts about being associated somehow with Genghis Khan.

Yes, I agree, but according to hystorical data asian population was and is so much higher than european population. And by asian i am refeering to a major group of asian countries. But consistently i find that reincarnation memories are commonly related to places and times that have been widely cover by western media.

Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. Besides the Ancient lives, I also remember being Spanish, English, French, French-Canadian, German, Korean and American.

I feel very European, I'm more attached to Europe than to a certain country.
I don't feel Dutch for instance, but that's because I'm a mix of several nationalities.
The past lives I remember were also European, I don't remember being African or living in the rain forest.
I also can imagine myself living in New York or Melbourne, but that's because both Australia and America
have a lot of European influences.

That I'm so attached to Europe makes me think that I only had European lives,
that I haven't really been around yet, that my soul is quite young
and that I still have so much to learn and to discover.

Curious Girl.

My soul is also quite young. I feel very European, even though I'm an Asian. As much as I could remember, this might just be my second life. I do have a past life in Germany in the 40's at the Eastern Front, probably born in Breslau (which is Wrocław, Poland today) maybe a year before WW1.

Apparently, that is the only PL I remember at the moment....

Hi, you might be so much older than that. I think for me the lives I remember mostly from is the ones with some unfinished business. I have been show glimpses of entirely different lives that surprises me I have ever had in the first place. I think these lives are at peace and normally hidden. Maybe the same for you ?

Maybe. I think that I may had a life in Scotland during the 16th century, and maybe England too. Maybe even Egypt?

The Germans and the Scots are very much connected. This lifetime’s ancestors are from Scotland making me Scottish, but I consider myself to be more attracted to my Prussian/Jewish roots from my past lifetime but occasionally my Scottish roots will come out when I watch the Military Tattoo from Edinburgh.

I go right back to Pre-Dynastic Egypt in the time of Osiris and Isis. But if we’re talking about only the lifetimes we remember, then for me it is:

- Ancient Egypt, Syria (Mitanni) and Babylon (Mesopotamia)
- Viking/Nordic Denmark, Norway
- Medieval Bohemia/Moravia (Prague 2x - 1st time 9th century and 2nd time 1400-1550’s)
- India (not sure when)
- Rome, Italy (not sure when)
- Prussia/Germany
- New Zealand

Hi, Eva.

Just a question_

Did you choose yourself freely all those countries in your time, or were they (all or some of them) more or less softly imposed upon you by someone or something?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Cyrus!

I believe I chose them all in conjunction with my twin soul.

Some of these I know, Others I have a more empathic or emotional psychic awareness of them. The others I have been told by a friend who is a psychic.

What is now known as Northern France. (Neanderthal)
South Pacific Islands (During Stonehenge)
Atlantis
Ancient Egypt
Italy Rome
Greece
Ireland, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland
Scotland, Isle of Skye Scotland
France (during French Resolution)
Northwest England, Devon, Cornwell and London.
Somewhere in Southern United States during civil war (black slave)

Present life ( San Francisco)

I'm sure there is more but this is what I know for now. Your mileage may vary....

Hi Camila, I think I can explain this according to my experiences.

I was born in Asia in my current life and I feel that I lived most if not all of my past lives as Europeans. I do agree with your findings, but I believe most of the scientific researches were done by North American or European researchers and based on memories of people with European culture backgrounds.

Based on my experience in Asia, at least in the place I lived, nobody believes in reincarnation or even thinks about this idea. As they don’t believe in reincarnation, if anyone claims to have past life memories, the person would either be mocked or be considered as crazy. If a child ever speaks of their previous life, their parents probably thought it was nonsense.

Despite that, I did find some sort of evidence that most of them were reborn to the same or similar culture. They do seem to have strong interest in their culture and similar cultures of neighbouring countries. And many of them are fascinated by the history of the place. One example is that a classmate of mine was obsessed with a particular time period in the history of the country, she could even write in the old style language that was no longer used. I also noticed that unlike me they have little interest in European culture. I do think that the majority of Asian people lived their past lives in Asian countries.

As for why most people on this website remember European past lives, it is possibly due to the fact that most of them come from North America and Europe. And Asians might not be able to access this website because of lack of understanding in English. For example, if my parents noticed I had past life memories as a child and wanted to search for answers, they won’t be able to find this website or post anything here because they know little English.

Answer in part as to why such a focus on Western past lives is that typically for whatever reason memories of Asian lives are blocked likely due to trauma at least from what I've seen posted online. By chance is this in East Asia like Japan or South Korea?

Hi There and back again, I do agree with you to some extent, if I ever had a past life in Asia or anywhere outside Europe, it would probably be short or traumatic, as I have no interest in non-European cultures at all which might indicate that I had only European past lives.

However, I am convinced that most people reincarnate into similar cultures and may live a small number of lives in some distant places. And instead of memories of Asian lives being blocked, I tend to believe it is because for most Europeans, they had no or much fewer Asian lives compare to European ones, that there is a higher chance for them to remember their European past lives. My parents have little attraction to non-Asian culture and they claimed that if they ever had past lives, they would be Asians in their past lives which in my opinion, is probably true.

And to answer your question, it was close but more like southern Asia.

The longer one has been here the more they've been around but anyway western lives do tend to be glamorized over that of others especially when there is something historical though that does have its downsides.

I was reading this thread and I can't help but wonder if the fact that we know more about Western history affects the fact that people remember PLs in Europe. As in because we have more information about every day facts about people that live in the past in Europe people tend to imagine they had a previous life in an European country or in the USA. I am not sure how this process of finding out about past lives and then verifying memories work for most people that remember, but if you remember a small scene and then you investigate, there's a high chance of contaminating that memory and filling in the gaps with information from the internet. And the more information we have about certain periods of time, like the WWII, the more likely it is to make up a life in that period, right?

I watched a film about the Afghanistan war recently and I couldnt' stop thinking that with all the wars that we have going on since the WWII, how come people keep remembering lives in the WWII but there are no cases about these other less know wars around the world where a lot of people died in violent conditions?

Polaris! :)

I’m interested in knowing you were in Auschwitz-Birkenau. I was deported there (Auschwitz-Birkenau is in Poland ;) ) with my two adopted children when Rīga Ghetto closed in October 1943 until my death in March 1945 (I witnessed the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau by the Russians but died shortly after...) I survived because I was in Birkenau Woman’s Orchestra. I would have been deported to Bergen-Belsen with the other Orchestra members, but at the time the deportations were happening, I was too ill to be deported.

flick me a PM so we don’t go off topic if you like.. :)

Not totally sure, cause i lack of vivid memories, but i guess.
- byzantium, 825 d.C , artisan, mechanic, scholar.
- unknown place on europe, 1050 d.C. soldier or warrior, maybe. not sure.
- england, explorer 1864-1925 i seen a strong connection with the figure of percy fawcett and with the search of the lost city of Z. i was thinking that my previous memories of exploring jungle was of an africa, instead, watching the biographic movie about fawcett i had a tons of deja vu. the end of the moevie, when percy meet the tribe of indios before his disappering into the nothing, is exactly like my childhood vision of my prebirth past.
i am not claim i was fawcett but his face is very familiar to me.
there is also a curios astrological connection cause the sun of fawcett is on my imum coeli and is north node is on my sun.
i not know.
Maybe i was one of the member of his last expedition.
however, seems i am a scholar soul. the common line of all my lives is the learning, the travels and explorations. strange. i "choosed" to have a life as disable. o.o

PS. i have storng connection with spanish culture cause i visited more time spain on barcelona when i was child for health motivation. also on my childhood i was fascinated by letters of greek alphabeth and by astronomy, medicine and all sciences.
i love fantasy and sci fi and i like to write tales.
but now i am a very sedentary person. i ever had an actraction for astrology, but i am studing it ony into the last 5 years. expecially after 2016-2017.

This is getting a little off-topic for a simple thread about people's own recall. But still, for an up-to-date, evidence-based view on these questions, I highly recommend the work of James G. Matlock. He and his team are open to serious discussion about the data and ideas relating to reincarnation on the Facebook group, Signs of Reincarnation.

It also occurred to me that the work of Helen Wambach may be relevant to this topic. At the very least I found it fascinating.
