PL memories or just nightmares?

Since I could remember (I'm 20 now), I have had several nightmares about Nazi concentration camps in which I died. I only remember one nightmare I had recently, which I believe could be a past life memory, but I'm not sure. The reason why I don't remember the other nightmares is because I thought it was normal to dream about something I've never seen before so I forgot them quickly like any other dream I have had. I think I could have seen these camps on television when I was little but that is very unlikely because I've never been interested in WWII. I first saw movies about WWII in school projects and only once with my family. I have actually only seen 2 movies about WWII where concentration camps are included.

Anyway, the nightmare was very detailed and it left me with wonder and confusion. It was so scary and I couldn't sleep afterwards. The dream starts with me being transported in a very dark train, and I couldn't see anything. I could literally feel the person I was sitting next to so I assume that there was very little space. But I wasn't myself. I was a man with two children; a boy and a little girl. The little girl was wearing a small purple dress with white spots, and because of that, I think it was summer. The sun was also shining. When the train finally stopped, a group of soldiers came and got us out of it. They shouted something in German, and the strange thing is that I have never learned it, nor do I understand it. The next thing that happened was that I was standing in a huge line along with other people and my children. Then we began to walk really fast. Several minutes later we stopped in front of a building which was the camp. The soldiers began to separate families from each other and I tried to hide my little girl. But of course, one of the soldiers saw her and forced her to go with him. She screamed and shouted very loudly, and the soldier shouted at her and slapped her 4 times; and then she shouted and cried even more. When she was seperated from me, I thought: How will she be able to survive? And I was very concerned about it. But I didn't have time to think about it because then I somehow ended up in the camp with my boy (luckily)
The Nazis said that we should work on a construction project, also in German. All prisoners were standing next to each other in a room with blue walls, and the Nazis walked very close to us and observed everything. And then I awoke, sweating and confused.

English isn't my first language so I apologize for grammar mistakes. And I'm new here so don't know if this is inappropriate or not. Thanks for reading this, it means a lot to me.

Welcome to the forum. :) Your English is fine. Yes, this sounds very much like a past life memory. It sounds like you died in the concentration camp during World War II. There are several people here in the forum who remember dying in the Nazi camps during World War II.

Thanks for replying! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who possibly had a PL in WW II. However, I'm still sceptic about this. I still think that I could've been dreaming about something from a movie, but then again, the nightmare wasn't like the movies I had seen so anything is possible.

This is what most people think when they have dreams or memories about past lives. The major clue is it feels so real. Like you are really there and can reach out and touch things. You can't do that with movies.

Wow! That's cool! I've never thought about that before. So you're saying that this is a PL memory?

This sounds a lot like a past life memory. Some of the things that stand out to me is that you were a different person in the dream with another family. This is common for a past life memory. You also have a lot of details and the dream was very emotional. This doesn't mean you necessarily died there though since you did not experience your death in the dream. You could have survived or died elsewhere.

How do you feel about all of this? Do you have a special attraction to any country or time period in particular? Is there a certain language or culture that draws you in? Oh, and your English is great so no worries.

I think I remember a glimpse from another nightmare, but I do not know if I was myself or this man. In that glimpse I was looking up at a "shower" in a gas chamber so I think it's possible that I could've have died there but I'm not sure. It could just be my imagination.

English has always been very easy for me. I learnt the language much faster than my classmates. I'm also born with a heart defect and autism so I think that may explain it. But my mother experienced Deja VU when she was in the UK for the first time, and she doesn't believe in reincarnation.

When my sister and I stopped being close I felt lost. I felt like I hadn't anyone to talk to. She has many friends and I barely have any. Before I had this dream I was very jealous of her and I still am, but not much anymore. The dream also changed my attitude towards small children. I have always hated them for no apparent reason. But now I feel neutral when I am with them, even when they cry. It's really strange.

Hello and welcome :)

What you describe is consistent with accounts from victims who survived concentration camps. So it just makes sense. And as it was already said here, there are many people who remember past lives during WW2. So it wouldn't be something unusual and you are definitely not alone.

But, I think, nobody can tell you hundred per cent for sure, if this was a past life memory or not. You will have to find out for yourself, and sometimes this can take a lot of time and patience. But we can look for hints.

To me it sounds also much like a memory and I agree on what others have already said, i.e. being a different person, even the opposite gender, having other family members, experiencing a lot of emotions. Also you experienced another language in your dream. Did you understand anything, which was said in German?

I can understand how you feel. It's always the same with me, thinking I just saw it in a movie or read about it somewhere. But movies etc. can also be a trigger for pl memories. But it's good to be somewhat sceptical and keep a cool mind.

It would be interesting for you to see, if you can validate some details from your memory. Do you remember anything specific about the camp? Like the entrance gate or a significant building or anything else? If yes, you could look at photos from former concentration camps and see if you recognize something. There is quite a lot of material on this time period and some of the former camps still exist as a museum and can be visited.

I think I understood what was being said, but I can't remember what it was. The only thing I remember clearly from the camp was the room with blue walls. I think that there were many buildings in the camp but I'm not sure.

Hi GagaGirl.

Welcome to the forum.

Yes, it certainly sounds like a past life dream, rather than just a random dream or your imagination, as the others have said. Yes, there are quite a lot of similar types of stories in the forum.

Now that you've started to talk and think about it you might get more dreams. Probably a good idea to start keeping a journal and keep it by your bed in case anything else comes to you. Just write everything down, even if it seems like a fairly insignificant detail. Sometimes things make more sense after a while.

I haven't had more dreams like this one since. It's really frustrating because I want to know if it could be something, or if it just is me having a very good imagination. How can I have more PL dreams?

I just had another nightmare that freaked me out because I know that I haven't seen anything like that on movies. In this dream, I am the same man again and I was lying in a double bed in an unknown bedroom. It was in the middle of the night and I couldn't sleep because there was a very bright light that kept moving around the house in circles. It was like someone who was outside was looking for something in our house. I knew it wasn't good so I thought it was pointless to fall asleep and I was scared. Then the same little girl, who slept next to me, awoke, and screamed hysterically because the light had stopped moving and was shining directly through the window! She couldn't stop screaming. There was also a dog who awoke and barked very loudly at the light which was still there.

Then I awoke and I didn't want to fall asleep again because the nightmare was too scary.

Be careful what you wish for, eh? Looks like you managed to have more dreams after all?

It seems like there is more to come with this life and its memories. The best thing to do is write it all down in a journal. Once you get it down, you may find that the dreams subside or at least become less frightening.
