A left-handed warrior in Middle Ages

Hi, new here.
Since I was a child, I believe in reincarnation but only recently I am discovering my past life.

I discover I was a warrior in Middle Ages, left-handed, with brown boots and a red cape (?). I lived in Ferniehurst Castle, my citizens are farmers. It seems like I had an affair with a blonde hair woman and I had a paint of her right near of my chamber's window but I don't know her name.

The second time I try to find more information of my PL, I was on the road to my castle, it was really sad, like I lost my men in battle, my armor was covered with blood, my citizens initially look at me with a smile face but later with sad face. My mother tried to confort me and, later, I went to my chamber, on my desk I found a letter, it was from the blonde hair woman but I couldn't read it, because I don't know the language (I think was Old norse).

I don't know if it is accurate because I watched image of members of Clan Kerr but they haven't a red cape. I may be relate to my PL, because I was left-handed too but I'm ambidextrous now because sisters at kindergarten said me left-hand is the devil's hand; when I visit a castel, I feel like I'm home; also for liking women, if in the past I was a man, now, for my biological gender I can't date women (I don't identified like a woman and neither a man, it's a bit complicate to explain).

Somebody can help me to find more info about my past life with those informations? Old norse was spoken in Scotland?

Could the language been Norn? Norn is an extinct North Germanic language that was spoken in the Northern Isles (Orkney and Shetland) off the north coast of mainland Scotland and in Caithness in the far north of the Scottish mainland. Durning the 8th to the 15th centuries there were Viking and other Norse settlers in those areas of Scotland.

Ferniehurst Castle is too far south though, so it might not be Norn at all, but some local language. It might be helpful for you to try to pin a time period down, somehow. Ferniehirst Castle was built originally as a ‘peel tower’ in 1476 by Sir Thomas Kerr, so if you are sure your past life was in that castle then it had have been after 1476. Since, its a borderlands castle (with England) the mystery language was probably Middle English or Early Modern English.

Interesting.
This is the castle, I'm sure.

When I wrote, in the first post, Clan Kerr is because they are knew to be left-hended.

My past life was between Late Middle Age and Renaissance, now I need to know my name and who's this blonde woman. There aren't some information from this clan.

When I discover other info, I'll tell you.

Check out this link: http://clankerr.co.uk/ferniehirst book/book timeline.html
Thank you, I read all and I'm confused, there aren't correspondence to this link and wikipedia. I think I'm a certain Robert Ker or Cerr but there are Robert Ker of Cessford, Sir Robert Ker of Cessford, Robert Kerr, 4th Lord of Jedburgh, Robert Ker, 1st Earl of Roxburghe and
Robert Carr, 1st Earl of Somerset. Which Robert I was?

I found more information with Robert Carr of Somerset. He had a wife who looked like a friend of mine (they have same face and Robert's wife seems like she is confident from how she is dressed https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frances_Carr,_Countess_of_Somerset ) and he had a relationship with
King James VI https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_relationships_of_James_VI_and_I .

A thing I remember yesterday: at high school, I had a strange dream, I was in battle and an enemy stabbed me with a sword similar to this https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/cc/13/8e/cc138e4a014ae7892a35589928ad08a3.jpg (I don't remember what hilt was) and I had pain, like it was real.
I don't know if it can be relate with Robert Carr, because we don't know who died, it's sure he retired after the confinement in the tower.

An other strange thing: if I listen viking songs or nordic songs, they sound familiar because...I don't know, I had listened in my past life.

Its possible that you are dealing with more than one past life. You might want to start a journal and record everything down. That will help you to sort things out.

Hi Jaden,

I'm assuming at this point that you have already researched Border Clans, Border Reivers, Clan Kerr, etc. on Wikipedia and elsewhere. Overall, this sounds a bit like a clan conflict, but there are too many other possibilities to pin it down with any exactitude. The most notorious feud in the area was between Clan Kerr and Clan Scott, another notable border clan. This was not resolved according to Wikipedia until:

"Sir Thomas Kerr of Ferniehurst married Janet Scott who was the sister of the tenth Scott Laird of Buccleuch."

So, perhaps there is a Romeo and Juliet story hidden in here somewhere (but with a happier ending). Also, it seems to me that your language and letters at the time would probably have been Gaelic. You might want to check the rendering of Irish Gaelic lettering to see if they match your impressions (Scottish is apparently the same, but with the letters given different names): http://www.gaelicmatters.com/gaelic-written-alphabet.html

Good luck! I think there is an interesting story behind this somewhere.

PS--I also agree with Cryscat. Two PLs may be getting mixed together in your mind/memory. It happens.

Thank you all, it's really interesting what you found SeaAndSky. I'm still searching info. There are days I can't meditate because I have headaches or I try meditation but more I try, I start to have headaches. What do you suggest me to do?

Hi Jaden,

I'm not sure what to do in terms of a remedy for your headaches. The truth is that I'm not really actively seeking memories at the present, though I probably will start trying to "sneak" up on them when I get some time (i.e., life allows). This is partly because at times when it seemed I was going to have a break-through I instead got a case of the "terrors"--an almost electrified response to whatever was coming up or happening that did not allow me to continue. So, something different from your headaches, but possibly arising as my response to PL trauma or something I don't want to remember or re-experience. This may also be the case with you in terms of your headaches. Tanguerra and others seem to be able to get past or avoid this type of thing, i.e., negotiate past or effectively deal with PL trauma in a way that allows them to get to the underlying memories, so I should probably refer you to them for better advice on the how-to.

Cordially,
S&S

Jaden, The headaches may be a sign of you pushing too hard for the memories. Try taking a bit of a break for a few days, then see what happens.

Hi Jaden, welcome to the forum. I've been reading along on your post and it seems you've gotten some excellent info from our members. I am strong believer that past life memories will surface at their own pace. I agree with Cryscat, you may be pushing to hard. Patience is important, along with mindful observation of the world around you. Perhaps you could first study what the differing theories on reincarnation are. Maybe there are some meditation recordings that can talk you through the recollection process. For me personally, meditation is a daily practice. It helps me with life in general, but past memories have surfaced at times. I'm glad you are here, and enjoyed reading your interesting story. Best wishes. ~Tman

I have information about the blond girl with green dress. There is a legend in Scotland about a "Green Lady", a ghost and it seems like she is in Ferniehirst.
