Flashback of girl's life

New Member
first off - i'm new to the forums, i've had two different types of past life visions.

The first is one single flashback, a time when i was in a meditative state, i got to view an event which was similar to a movie - only i could smell, feel, think and everything was vidid.

The second was not one single flashback, nor any details. when i was a young child i got very disturbed by the sound of planes and bombings which was on the tv (i don't remember, parents told me i freaked out hid under the bed and wouldnt speak for days) i must have been about 3 years old at this time. also at various points in my life, war sirens and the sound of planes flying overhead causes terror (the main feelings i remember are heartbreak and terror) - however gunshots and firing does not.

---

the first thing i remembered, was being in the body of a young girl, judging by her body she was just entering teens, very thin and under fed, with blonde dirty hair and pale skin.

she lived with an older carer women, but this women was very mean, strict and generally a housekeeper type.

outside in the streets the ground was mud paths or cobble paths (not proper roads), the houses were grey stone, the ceilings on the inside had beams across. the doors we're large thick and oak like (as were the tables).
the houses used fires to heat in fireplaces.

there were no cars, but i do remember horses. some horses were carrying a cart with posh people in it (people with smarter clothes, perhaps white shirts and a black jacket or hat)
the people spoke in a different language, but it is 'too muffled' to recall how it sounded, since i remember more 'mood' and emotion from the flashback than actual words themselves. (unsure about language)

- the clothes were mostly browns or dirty white, rag type clothes.
- peoples hair, no one had black hair. everyone had either brown, ginger or blonde hair. and everyone had pale skin.
- there was a lot of trees/forest area and possibly a lake, the village seemed to have a lot of forest area surrounding it.

(beggining the flashback - this is in detail)

i was frightened, and shouting at the old lady, trying to ask what was going on i was scared. As this large man came into the room. the old lady didnt look at me, she left the room to wait outside in the other room.

so this older man (he looked in his 30/40s) was sort of fat build and had ginger hair (which was bald on the top but round the edge bright ginger), he ripped off my clothes fast, as i was screaming, and backed me onto this table.

i distinctly remember the 'view' being mainly looking Up at the ceiling, and then to his face, to the side and trying to ignore it happening. he started to rape me (yes, on the table), he was going to quick.

i remember hearing grunting and panting noises...

he had like a dirty white overall shirt, and maybe brown trousers, a dirty sweaty look. (and sort of pale pinkish skin.)

he forced his way into me and it felt like a ripping hurting thumping pain as he held my legs apart.

and it hurt, after doing it, he pulled away and stood up, and walked out. (this is how i remember the beams on the ceiling, i saw it when i was lying down).
as the man walked out i was in shock physically and mentally, but more than anything i wanted to ask 'why? why did that happen?' i didnt understand why. so i questioned the carer, but she was stern and hit me hard just for questionning.

i remember crying and running out of the house.

i remember her wondering the streets for a few days. this is where i saw the horse and cart, the people on the streets, and the forest. it was cold outside.

i then cut forwards to a time which could not have been much later on, where the girl was dying. it could have been a disease, or more likely it felt like she got flu/virus and was too weak to continue in a frail underfed body. I just remember being so weak, ill and dying.

---

many apoligies for talking in the 1st person sometimes, and then going into 3rd person... i find it confusing enough as it is.

Ok - any input would be cool. sorry for the long post!

Hi Dreamer02.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you will enjoy it. There are all sorts of interesting tips on how to recover more memories in the 'Past Life Regression' section if you are interested in finding out more, and more philosophical type issue in 'Reincarnation questions' and the 'Science of Reincarnation'.

Don't apologise for a long post. You told your story very well and very vividly. That certainly sounds very much like a past life episode, with all the classic characteristics - detail, emotional intensity, a certain 'ordinariness' about it - ie. it is not about being Napoleon or anything, just an ordinary person's tale.

What a very unpleasant experience! Was there anything striking going on in your present life at the time you had that memory? For example had you just met someone new or were upset about something?

I always think of my experiences as being 'me' too so it makes perfect sense to speak in the first person and is less confusing. Having such a memory would certainly make you a strong advocate against rape I would think. It is shocking the number of acts of cruelty which have been perpretrated over the years against the young and defenceless. Does anyone in that episode remind you of someone you know in this life? Do any of the emotions feel familiar to you?

I would assume your terror of planes and sirens would reflect a frightening experience (possibly a death) in WWII. Many people here have memories of WWII. I remember being in the Blitz in London for instance, although I was an adult at the time and was not particularly frightened of the bombs. I was pretty tough back then and had already had a fairly hard life so a stray bomb would almost have been welcome in a way. That was a rather unhappy life, although there were moments of sunshine.

I wonder if you were a child or an adult in WWII. Does any feeling about that come to you either way?

Hello Dreamer02,

Welcome to the forum! :)

I think both your meditation experience and the "irrational" fear of the sounds of sirens, bombing and planes flying overhead could very well be past life related. The latter case obviously being you might have lived during a fairly modern war.

I think what you got in a meditation sounds very genuine and vivid. I'm sorry about what happened to you, it's not easy to remember things like that. When I remembered being raped and killed, I was sad and sort of messed up for a couple of days. Nowadays I've better learned to detach myself from the past life memories.

Just a random note: Your description of the people - the colour of their hair - made me think this probably happened in Northern Europe. I think you find most ginger haired people on the British Isles and Scandinavia - at least Sweden (there are not many here in Finland). Do you have a feeling which country it could've been?

Hi Dreamer02 and welcome to the forum. Thank you for sharing your memories with us, it sounds like you got alot of vivid details. Did you get any impressions of countries you might have been. I look forward to hearing any updates you might have.

Kind Regards
Kay

thanks for the comments! yes it does make me have a loathing of rape - mainly because i can see it from the victims POV.

i also agree that the flashbacks of the girl could have been a country like england or sweden? or some colder european country. however, the flashbacks of the girls life were fairly complete and i feel after a time i was able to let them go.

last night i was trying to look into the war life, since this one seems to be disturbing me more. details are very hazy from it, but im pretty sure it involves a lot of loss and fear.

seeing as i don't have a fear of gunshots, but do vividly get flashbacks of emotion when hearing sirens or hearing bombings, it suggests i was possibly a child.

---

one thing i wanted to ask on here, is that i spoke to a stranger on the net (as i have done many hundreds of times), But when speaking to this one person, i felt at home as soon as i spoke with them, like i 'already knew them'.
my mind said 'welcome home' to this person when they contacted me, and it felt like them (or me) was 'back home'.

just an incident which has never happened to me before, so i was wondering if i had known them in a past life or how i could find out!

thanks for the input so far!

There could be many reasons why you felt good being in contact with this person, but one possibility is a past life connection. :) Many people who have known each other is past lives have reunited through this forum, for instance.

I think you could try and meditate on it, if you don't trust your intuition (your inner voice). If the other person remembers past lives, you could see if you have memories of the same eras or countries, and if they don't, you could start by listing what eras, countries and things in general fascinate you, or that you find yourself indifferent about, maybe even negative or scared. Then see if there are any similarities in your lists.

Good luck!

Hi Dreamer and welcome.

The story of the cruelty you suffered made me stop and think of the horrible reality that has been repeated millions of times over the centuries and goes on today...right now somewhere in the world, from the war fields of the Sudan, the tenement on Chicago's south side to the upscale suburb outside of Cleveland. This assault, so real and painful to the victims, is also an assault on humanity and the dignity of each one of us. It is ultimately the antithesis of what we are as beings, human and spirit.

As for a connection over the internet...well, I guess we should never say never. There is something to be said for the eye to eye (window to the soul) contact and a chance for all the senses to have their interpretation. But I suppose some argument could be made that cyber connections are free of those sensorial bias. I'm one who believes most anything is possible.

Thanks again for your post and best wishes!

How horrible to be sold by the one who is supposed to care for you :(

Was it only the posh people who were speaking a different language, or did everyone speak something you don't recognize now?

Grey stone houses doesn't sound like Sweden. Mostly wooden houses here. In the southernmost province and in Denmark, in sparsly wooded areas, timberframe houses were the norm in the times your memories indicates.
How about Ireland? Ginger hair should fit in there, but are there lots of forest areas with lakes in Ireland? (haven't visited there myself, as far as I can remember )

Hi Dreamer,

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for sharing your memories with us, that must have been a very traumatic experience for you. I have similar memories of being raped in one of my past-lives, however, i feel a bit uncomfortable about posting all of the details, i have mentioned it only briefly in a few of my posts.

However, when i read your post, i felt compelled to respond and share my thoughts. For anybody who doesn't know me, i was a young girl in this particular life, when i was sexually abused by my own father (i'm not sure if rape is an appropriate word here). One of the reasons why i hesitate to post about this, is because even in this life, i still feel the need to defend him, we had a very close relationship full of ups and downs, we lived in a remote part of the world, and most of the time we relied on just each other for company. Despite this, and some of the other harsh treatment that i sometimes suffered at his hands, my father loved me very much..(there i go again...defending him)

My experience was full of mixed feelings. As a young child, somewhat cut off from society, I wasn't sure if it was normal for a parent to being doing this to their child. Even though it felt very uncomfortable, and i sensed that what he was doing was very wrong, he did it in a way that felt like he was performing an act of love for his child, i don't know if you can understand that, but that was how my young mind perceived it, so i just laid there with my hands clenched and endured it, too scared to deny him, and not knowing how to react, or how i was meant to react.

It was only afterwards, when i saw the tears, and the terrible look of guilt on his face as he left my room, and the bloodstain on my bedsheets, that i realized the full horror of what he'd done. I don't recall any further memories from her life of how we dealt with this situation, but in my present life, i had a difficult time coming to terms with this memory. Not only was the memory difficult in itself, but the whole experience, from the opposite sex point of view, wasn't easy for me to accept, and it hung over me for several days after.

I'm curious to know how that memory left you feeling in your present life straight after you'd experienced it, how did it make you feel as a male? if you don't mind me asking that is?

Chris

Hi, and welcome to the forum! wow your memory was extremely vivid. My question now is, since the memory have you felt any form of relief from the memory? With me after i experienced something traumatic i felt higher in a sense, more free. Like a secret i had been keeping was set free. But not all the time, sometimes i had to dig deeper. Such as after my memory of myself abusing my own daughter, i instantly understood, and felt free from it. But the memories of my husband abusing me, i still can't let go at this time. My theory is there is more to it, that i havnt uncovered yet.

I too was sexually abused in my past life that lasted from 1909-1947. i have a brief memory of a man grabbing me as a child in that life, but i usually cut it short. I don't feel i want to see what happened. Also later my husband raped me on atleast 1 occasion as well as physical abuse. then also in my next life 1948-1986, i was attacked my an african american man in 1983, which i kind of get the feeling was rape, but again i pulled away before i saw any details. But this life has been completely void of sexual contact of any kind, so far. I wonder if that actually is an PL issue, that i never realized. Perhaps that is the root of my fear of relationships..hmm.

Anyways, I hope to see more post about this life. Have you considered regressing? I know alot of people seem to get information my meditation as well, so keep us posted.

Hey Dreamer02 -

In regard to that feeling that you have met someone before, well of course it is highly possible. I always trust my deeper intuitions in situations of this nature.

I have met many such people - usually in person though. As Tinkerman says it is easier to have that feeling in person and look someone in the eye and know them. It is wonderful when it happens, but it does not mean that you are 'soul mates' or 'destined to be together' or anything of that nature neccessarily. You may have been friends before and may be friends again, simple as that.

I have struck up a 'pen pal' relationship with someone I am almost convinced was a twin in at least one previous life. It is funny, as you say, I immediately felt we had a lot in common and so on when we first began to write to each other. Since then we have discovered all sorts of strange similarities, such as we have almost the same taste in jewellery (both wearing large silver bangles of similar design all our lives, that sort of thing) and we even look a little bit alike.

She is also very interested in mystical matters, including reincarnation and we have compared notes and found a life where we were both around at about the same historical time period and each remember having a twin sister/brother - so...? That could indeed be it. We have never met in person, and live opposite sides of the world, but enjoy chatting away in long emails to each other. Both of us agree we feel understood by the other. To really know for sure we would probably have to meet in person, but I think that would just clinch it finally.

If meeting in person is not practical (if you do make sure it is in a public place at least in the first instance!) my advice would be don't worry about trying to 'prove' it just enjoy your friendship!

Wow.

Your story made me shed tears...I just finished watching Fern Gully and was in a state of happiness and then I read this and became just as confused and sad as the girl. Thank you for sharing, I can't imagine having these memories. The worst part is, this happens to children still, all of the time and behind closed doors.
